The Nonin 8586PI Printer Interface is designed to act as an interface device between the Nonin 8500, 8500M, 8600 and 8600M Pulse Oximeters and a compatible printer. When used with the Nonin pulse oximeters, it will transmit a signal from the optical link in the pulse oximeter to a printer allowing real-time printing of pulse oximetry data.
The Nonin 8500M and 8600M Pulse Oximeters with memory allow much more efficient and complete utilization of the capabilities of the 8586PI Printer Interface. 8500M and 8600M will transmit data from memory to the 8586PI where the data will be stored in the memory built into the 8586PI. This data may then be printed in a variety of formats at the operator's discretion using the mode select switch on the front of the 8586PI. The 8586PI also has a built in rechargeable battery allowing 1 - 2 hours of battery operation.
