NOTES:
- These reusable sensors can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or sterilized with ethylene oxide (cold cycle).
- Short-term continuous monitoring is defined as 30 minutes or less in duration.
- a Reflectance Sensors and Ear Clip Sensors generally do not perform as well as sensors located on the fingers or toes, and are not recommended for applications where the best possible accuracy is important.
- b The Flex Sensors must be stabilized on the patient using either Velcro-type wraps or medical tapes.
