Nonin Avant 4000 Tabletop Wireless Digital Pulse Oximeter with Bluetooth
|
A Solid Performing Pulse Oximeter Without Wires
The Avant 4000 is an industry-leading tabletop pulse oximeter using the renowned PureSat® technology from Nonin Medical. Building on the already successful Avant 9600 platform, the Avant 4000 adds freedom from sensor wires with the addition of a Bluetooth® wireless module. This capability makes the Avant 4000 an ideal choice for hospitals, clinics and at-home users who need continuous monitoring of pulse oximetery data while retaining freedom of movement. This, coupled with a programmable alarm and 33 hours of data storage, makes the Avant 4000 a powerful patient monitoring tool.
Great for Hospitals, Clincs, and At Home!
The powerful features of the Avant 4000 make it great for patient monitoring across many different types of environments. Big enough to give you professional features yet small enough to be portable, the Avant 4000 can be mounted on rolling stands, carried in an available carry case, or simply placed beside the bed. With it's flexible power options, the Avant 4000 can be easily transported without losing monitoring capability. The wireless connectivity means bedside clutter is greatly reduced while allowing the patient greater freedom from movement. This also makes the 4000 an ideal pulse oximeter for use in exercise sessions. With an indoor broadcast range of 30 feet, the Avant 4000's base station can even be placed in a nearby room while the patient remains in another!

Multiple Power Options
The Avant 4000 pulse oximeter not only comes with wireless sensor capability, but also allows you to untether the unit from the wall with the included battery pack. This 6-cell battery gives the 4000 a minimum of 18 hours of continuous operation when fully charged. The included battery charger will recharge the battery pack in a mere 4 hours. Plug the Avant 4000 into the wall and continuously monitor pulse oximetery statistics whenever you want. This functionality means moving patients does not require you to lose pulse oximetry data during the transport.
The Wireless Bluetooth® Patient Module - Easy to Wear and Use
The Avant 4000's patient module is what powers the Bluetooth® connectivity to the base station. This lightweight, wearable device securely transmits blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate and plethysmorgraphic data to the tabletop base station and weighs a mere 4.4 ounces. The cut-to-size wristbands are made to fit a wide range of patient sizes and a color-coded LED gives an easy to read visual indication of the wireless connection status. While normally worn on the wrist, the patient module is also capable of being worn on the ankle when using the sensor on a toe. There is no programming involved to get the patient module to work - it couldn't be easier. The patient module automatically turns on whenever the sensor is connected. Each sensor is designed with a short, 12 inch cable to further avoid clutter and entanglements. Each patient module includes a specific identification number to confirm the correct patient module is connected to the base unit. The patient module will perform for 120 hours of continuous operation on two standard AA batteries
